LET’S DISCOVER THE HISTORICAL PENINSULA OF ISTANBUL TOGETHER:

We will meet at Sultanahmet Square with our guests at 09:00 am. Our daily trip will continue till 17:00pm. Firstly we will visit Hagia Sophia (Ayasofya Mosque).  Hagia Sophia Mosque contains both Byzantine and Ottoman empire’s religious elements. Secondly we will visit Sultanahmet (Blue Mosque) which is famous for its blue İznik tiles.  We will see Alman Çeşmesi (German Fountain) and Milion stone.

We will have a lunch break at Sultanahmet Köftecisi which is famous for its special Turkish meatballs.

We will continue our trip with Sultanahmet Square and Hippodrome of Constantinople. We will see Obelisk of Theodosius, Serpent Column and Column of Constantine Porphyrogenitus .  Across to the Hippodrome Square we will go to Arasta Bazaar which famous with hand crafts. In this baazar we can visit The Museum of Great Palace Mosaics.

    Thank you very much for planning such a nice walking tour in Istanbul’s historical peninsula. I was delighted by the mosaics in the museum! The holy places were also very spiritual to me.
